Facebook Tip # 1 : Never Give Out Personal Information

You may post your real name in Facebook, but be careful about posting your birth date. You can post your month and day, and only if you share it with a small circle of friends that you really trust.
Other information you shouldn't share with the world are your phone number, employment details, personal photos you don't wish to share with vendors or co-workers that are in you circle of Facebook friends.
Facebook shouldn't be used as an online site to meet people. It should be used to share with those closest to you, people that you already know. So if you haven't done so, open up your account and start reviewing your privacy settings.
